The Atlanta University Center Sustainable Campus Community Initiative (ASCCI)
The Atlanta University Center Sustainable Campus Community
Initiative is a Department of Energy federally funded project. Housed in the Center for Alternative, Renewable Energy, Technology and Training (CARET2), the goal of ASCCI is to implement a multidisciplinary approach in research, training and communication for the creation of environmentally and technologically sound sustainability initiatives in the AUC and the surrounding communities. In partnership with the DOE, the program aims to train and promote energy science and engineering education and research among college and high school students.
